Detox Daily Essentials

  • 1. Fresh pressed veggie juice
  • 2. Fresh raw green salads
  • 3. Eat fruit only on an empty stomach
  • 4. Eat raw and cooked veggies @ every meal (except a fruit meal)
  • 5. Never mix protein and starch in the same meal
  • 6. Help elimination with bowel cleansing (not laxatives)
  • 7. Keep meals simple with whole unprocessed foods

Weight Loss

Even if weight loss is not your goal, just true abundant health and energy, you will lose some weight following this lifestyle properly.
The average person (not over-weight) will lose up to 25 pounds of waste without becoming too skinny.
Amazingly this happens without counting calories or fat grams.

My Daily Veggie Juice

1/2 bag chopped kale
1 bag organic baby carrots
1 large organic cucumber
1 small organic lemon
1 small organic gala apple
1 small organic green apple
1 small piece ginger root

Juice Strain and Enjoy
makes 22-30 oz

It takes me 10 minutes to make this juice from beginning to end, including putting the juicer together and cleaning the parts afterwords. The only ingredients that need slicing are the cucumbers (which I quarter lengthwise and the apples and lemons.

I add water to the pulp and boil for about an hour along with herbs, onion and garlic. Strain and use this broth for an afternoon drink or cook your quinoa in it for dinner!

I buy everything from Trader Joes and am currently using my masticating juicer

24 Carrot Gold

1 bag organic baby carrots
3 small organic gala apples
small piece of ginger root

juice and strain this pure liquid gold


Amazing Veggie Juice

1 small Lemon
1 small gala Apple
1 tsp Ginger
1 Cucumber
1 cup Kale
2 cups Lettuce
1 Red Bell Pepper
1 bag baby Carrots

Juice, strain and enjoy

Since I'm juice fasting today, I emptied out my veggie drawer for this one and wow is it good.

Blueberry Lemonade*

3 organic lemons
3 organic apples
1 cup organic blueberries
3 organic kale leaves
1 litre pure water
wild organic honey to taste (or stevia if you're not doing sugars)

juice lemon, apples and blueberries skin and all
juice kale
strain juice into pitcher add honey and water and you have yummy juice for the whole day

Creamy Avocado Salad*

1 avocado
1 lemon juiced
1/2 head butter lettuce
2 cups baby lettuce
1 ear raw sweet corn (cut kernals off cob)
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives
1 tablespoon goddess dressing (Trader Joes or Annies)

mash avocado and mix with lemon juice.
add all ingredients and mix well

serves 4 (or 1 very hungry detoxer like me)

Avocado combines as a starch. Do not eat protein (meat, eggs, cheese, seeds or nuts) with this salad.
